Kismet is more commonly known to friends and family as Chickie. She is from a litter that was about 2 years in the making. Imagine our disappointment when, as events unfolded, it seemed as if we weren't going to be able to keep a puppy from this litter. Chickie was not our 'first pick', nor was she our 'second' or even our 'third', but for reasons beyond our control, it was her that stayed. As things got sorted out, she continued to share our home and in no time at all had completely captured our hearts. In the meantime, she has grown into a spectacular puppy...an outstanding puppy...way better than we could have even hoped to achieve with this breeding. This is how Chickie's name transformed into Kismet...clearly I'd make a mistake in those early weeks when choosing 'pick of the litter'...obviously this was the puppy I was meant to keep!
